Internet gambling sites such as online casinos are set to focus on customer retention following the global economic downturn.
At least that is the view of eGaming review editor Jake Pollard, who suggested that online casino players and other web gamblers can expect "much more operational diligence" from the sites they play on.
Gambling companies will apparently want to focus on keeping their customer base happy during a time of financial uncertainty.
In addition to customer retention, online casinos et al will focus their attention on "frequency of activity and the amount being staked or spent by the punters", according to Mr Pollard.
The industry expert also claimed that mobile gaming has a lot of potential to grow in the coming years.
His comments came after the Fifth Annual Mobile Gambling Summit took place in London in November.
Various attendees contacted organiser Bullet Business to say how well the event went.
