Casino and hotel workers in the US have been told that service customer is of the utmost importance in the coming months.
With fewer people heading to Atlantic City to stay in resorts or play in gaming venues, those who do need looking after, according to an industry representative.
Michael Anderson, vice president of hotel operations at Bally's Atlantic City, claimed that good customer service has always been important, but it is even more so in the current climate as people tend to be spending less.
"We need to reward [guests] with great customer service," Mr Anderson revealed in a statement. "A big smile and heartfelt welcome from every employee will mean a lot to maintain our core business."
Blackjack, roulette and keno are just three of the many games that can be played at Bally's Atlantic City.
Other casinos in the city, which is seen as one of the top gambling destinations in the US, include Donald Trump's selection of properties, as well as Harrah's Resort Atlantic City.
